Shmulik Fishman is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Argyle, the leading employment data platform that provides companies access to user-permissioned records in real-time. With a solution that enables coverage of the majority of the US labor market, companies across industries leverage Argyle for frictionless, automated verification of income and employment (VOIE) and direct deposit change. Shmulik started Argyle in 2018, with the backing of Bain Capital and Checkr, after experiencing the complexity of work verification in his previous venture STRATIM, which he founded in 2014.
At STRATIM, Shmulik acted as the Chief Operating Officer, raising $42M in venture funding and sold in 2018 to NYSE listed KAR Global (NYSE: KAR). Prior to STRATIM, Shmulik worked on the S1 team at Adap.tv during its IPO that was subsequently acquired by AOL.
Shmulik has an undergraduate degree from Hampshire College where he became a philosopher by training and a storyteller by practice. While earning a business degree at Columbia University, a chance meeting catapulted Shmulik into the world of machine learning, setting him on a path of disrupting today’s employment and income verification space.
